Do any of the Minister's portfolio responsibility Departments, Boards, Agencies or corporations operate an online payment system, and if so: (a) What is the URL used to access this payment system; (b) What is the system used for; (c) Since 1 January 2017 have there been any reported online attacks or breaches of these systems; (d) Does the online payment system store any personal data of those who use it: (i) If so, what data is stored and for how long; and (ii) If so, is that data encrypted; (e) Are there any maintenance costs associated with the online payment system: (i) if so, what is the annual maintenance cost; (f) Are there any people dedicated to the administration of the online payment system: (i) If so, what is the job title of those people and their associated salary and entitlements; and (g) How many people have used the system since 1 January 2017?

Department of Education None of the Department of Education, Country High School Hostels Authority, Department of Education Services or School Curriculum and Standards Authority operated any online payment systems.
For the Department of Education, the answer provided relates to business units operating within the central and regional education office sections of the Department. To provide an answer that is representative of the whole organisation would require a survey to be completed by all schools. This has not been undertaken.

Building Construction Industry Training Fund Yes. a) https://bcitf.org/my-account/login b) The system is in place to provide online services for Project Owners to make payment of the BCITF levy as per their obligations under the Building and Construction Industry Training Fund and Levy Collection Act 1990. Payment can be made via EFT or credit card. c) No. d) Yes. i)  The following personal data relating to on-line BCITF levy payment is stored in perpetuity by the W-way payment gateway when a credit card payment is made - First Name, Last Name, email, address, postcode, invoice description, card  holder’s name, credit card number, credit card expiry, credit card type and  invoice reference. The following personal data relating to on-line BCITF levy payment is retained by the CTF – First name, Last name, email, address, postcode. This data is stored by CTF in a separate secure database that is not accessible via the internet for a period of seven years. ii)  Yes, the data is encrypted. e) Yes i) $746 inc GST per annum. f) Yes. This is one of several functions of the Supervisor, Programs. Public Service & Government Officers General Agreement 2017 L5, $93,994 g) 2433 users since January 2017.
