CORONAVIRUS — AL
KUWAIT
370. Mrs L.M. HARVEY to the Premier:
Can the Premier confirm that the Western
Australian state government was notified of illness on the Al Kuwait livestock
vessel prior to it berthing, rather than by word of mouth two days after it
berthing, as he indicated during yesterday's press conference?

An email arrived on Friday morning
to a generic account at the public health emergency operations centre in the
Department of Health that informed that there were some crew members who were
unwell. The email itself said quite clearly that there were no concerns about
COVID-19. That email was noted by the relevant staff.
