I refer to your answer to question No. 939, and to the Minister for Planning’s answer to question No. 955, and I ask -
(1) Which of these totals is the correct amount for Landcorp creditors as at 24 June 2009?
(2) Why there are two different totals for the same agency?

1. Both totals are correct under each Ministerial portfolio.
2. As LandCorp has responsibility under legislation for reporting to two Ministers, responses to the question for each Minister will be different as they consist of financial information related to the Act which applies to each portfolio.
LandCorp reports to the Minister for Regional Development; Lands under the
Western Australian Land Authority Act 1992
and also reports separately to the Minister for Planning under the
Hope Valley Wattleup Redevelopment Act 2000
and the
Perry Lakes Redevelopment Act 2005,
and previously reported to the Minister for Planning on the Perth Waterfront Project.
