The Western Australian Police Force advise:
(a) As at 20 February 2019, the actual number (headcount) of sworn Police Officers in Western Australia is 6 356. Headcount includes each part time police officer as a whole number rather than a part thereof.
(b) The authorised/approved strength of Police Officers in Western Australia is 6 370.
(c) Response as per the table below:
