As at 16 June 2015:
(1) The Public Transport Authority covers public passenger transport and commercial freight rail; spending on the infrastructure and services for this can be distinguished with relative ease. However, as private and commercial road transport on public roads is inextricably intertwined it is not a reasonably feasible task to provide this data.
(2) Nil. Transperth's Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fleet does not run on a renewable fuel. While CNG is an alternative to coal and petroleum, it is not a renewable energy source which is typically identified as wind, water or solar power. Similarly Transperth's hybrid vehicle is also not solely run on a renewable fuel as it is diesel-electric hybrid vehicle.
