AUSTRALIAN GREYHOUND RACING ASSOCIATION — FUNDING
908. Hon AMBER-JADE SANDERSON to the Leader of the House representing the Minister for Racing and Gaming:
I refer to the announcement of the
Minister for Racing and Gaming on 2 September 2014 of $13 million for
Greyhounds WA and the Cannington venue.
(1) How much of the $13 million has
been previously announced and on what date?
(2) If
applicable, what is the difference between previous funding allocations and the
$13 million announced on 2 September 2014, and from where was this extra
funding sourced?
(3) Did the
minister specifically instruct the agency to find additional funds for
Greyhounds WA?
(4) What budget
constraints will this enforce on the agency involved?
(5) What impact
will this redirection of funds have on other agency projects?
