I refer to the Minister’s announcement that 231 new homes will be built in Perth as part of the National Building Economic Stimulus Package, and ask:
(a) could the Minister confirm the location of the proposed new dwellings and how many homes will be built in each of these locations;
(b) has construction of any of the homes commenced; and
(i) if so, when;
(c) when is construction of all 231 homes anticipated to be completed;
(d) of the goal to construct 2,000 new homes across stages one and two of the National Building Economic Stimulus Plan, how many of these homes have commenced construction as of 23 November 2009; and
(e) in addition to those homes of which construction has commenced, what is the actual or anticipated number of homes that are expected to commence construction between 23 November 2009 and 1 February 2010?

(c) All dwellings are expected to be completed by the 31 st December 2010. (d) As at 27 November 2009, construction had commenced on 360 dwellings under the Nation Building Economic Stimulus Plan. (e) Between 27 November 2009 and 12 February 2010, construction commenced on 418 dwellings under the Nation Building Economic Stimulus Plan.
