I refer to a recent answer provided to my question without notice C593 on 20 August 2025, and I ask: (a) for SWL98940(4), identical figures are provided for the abstraction volumes in the two water years ending in November 2021 and 2022, is this correct; (b) if no to (a), please provide the correct abstraction volume for both years; (c) for GWL159085(3), two different abstraction volumes are provided for the water year ending in December 2023, can the Minister please clarify which is the correct volume; (d) for SWL63409(4), the water abstraction volume for the water year ending in December 2024 differs to that provided in the answer given to question on notice 182 on 22 May 2025. Can the Minister please confirm which figure is correct; (e) can the Minister please provide additional data pertaining to data for the water year ending 30 June 2025 for licences: (i) GWL167867(7); (ii) GWL98936(9); and (iii) GWL150586(6); and (f) can the Minister please provide additional data pertaining to data for all water years starting from 1 January 2019 for: (i) South32 Worsley Alumina Pty Ltd licence 68041; (ii) South32 Worsley Alumina Pty Ltd licence 211534; and (iii) Newmont Boddington Gold Pty Ltd licence 60668?

(a) On behalf of the Minister for Water, I apologise to the house for this error. The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation sincerely regrets errors contained in the response to Question without Notice No. 593 due to transcription and formatting inaccuracies.
(b) The response should have indicated the following abstraction volumes for SWL98940(4) are 249,353 kilolitres for 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020, 294,311 kilolitres for 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021, 684,173 kilolitres for 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022 and 596,854 kilolitres for 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023.
(c) The response should have indicated the following abstraction volume for GWL159085(3) is 2,300,063 kilolitres for the 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023 water year.
(d) The response should have indicated the following abstraction volume for SWL63409(5) is 32,476 kilolitres for the 1 January to 31 December 2024 water year (contained in Question on Notice No. 182).
(e) Abstraction volumes for the 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025 water year:
i) GWL167867(7) 148,962 kilolitres.
ii) GWL98936(9) 4,000,000 kilolitres.
iii) GWL150586(6) 145,200 kilolitres.

i) Abstraction data for South32 Worsley Alumina Pty Ltd licence SWL68041(5) is provided in Table 1.
ii) There is no abstraction data for South32 Worsley Alumina Pty Ltd licence SWL211534(1) which has an entitlement of 3,000 kilolitres per annum. Under the Rights in Water and Irrigation Regulations 2000 licences with an annual entitlement of less than 10,000 kilolitres are not required to meter. SWL211534(1) is a temporary licence associated with the construction of a crossing over the Hotham River.
iii) Abstraction data for Newmont Boddington Gold Pty Ltd licence SWL60668(8) is provided in Table 2.
