945. Hon TIM CLIFFORD to the minister representing the Minister for
State Development, Jobs and Trade:
Given
this government's commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and
reaching net zero emissions by 2050, will the McGowan government —
(a) assure all Western Australians that it will stop
rising emissions from WA's LNG sector by refusing to participate
in the federal government's gas-led recovery; and
(b) guarantee that no further gas
projects will be approved in the Perth Basin?
