143. Hon Dr Brad Pettitt to the minister representing
the Minister for Corrective Services:
I refer to youth
detention and ask that the minister please provide the following information on
Banksia Hill Detention Centre and unit 18 respectively for February 2026.
(1) What was the number of suicide and
self-harm attempts?
(2) What were the monthly average
out-of-cell hours?
(3) What was the number of occasions a
young person spent 20 or more in their cell?
(4) What was the number of occasions a
young person spent 22 hours or more in their cell?
