STATE BUDGET — NET INTEREST COSTS
I refer to the financial targets set out in the 2009-10 budget, and in particular the target to maintain net interest costs as a share of revenue below five per cent. What is the assumed interest rate contained in the forecast assumptions in figure 3 on page 14 of the budget for 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13? Hon BARRY HOUSE
