(1) What percentage of total electricity generation effort in Western Australia outside of the South West Interconnected System (SWIS) was provided by renewable energy generation in the years 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011; and
(a) if it is not possible to provide the information by calendar years, will the Minister provide the information by financial years?
(2) What percentage of total electricity generation effort in Western Australia outside of the SWIS is expected to be provided by renewable energy generation in the years 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020; and
(a) if it is not possible to provide the information by calendar years, will the Minister provide the information by financial years?

Information compiled by the Office of Energy for this purpose indicates the following figures for the proportion of renewable energy of total electricity generation outside of the South West Interconnected System.
2004/05 1.7%
2005/06 1.6%
2006/07 1.7%
2007/08 1.5%
2008/09 1.4%
2009/10 1.3%
Related information for the 2010/11 period is currently being compiled and verified by the Office of Energy.
