(b) what are the current FTE staff numbers for the boards and tribunals which will come under the new Tribunal?
(b) Approximately 63 full-time staff are currently engaged in providing support to boards and tribunals whose full or part functions will transfer to the SAT. Of that number, approximately 20 perform other administrative functions (and will continue to do so) that will not be transferring to the SAT. Those staff are primarily employed by self-funded statutory bodies responsible for licensing and other regulatory activities.

(a) It is estimated 52 staff will be required to provide support for the day-to-day operations of the SAT. This estimate is based on support requirements of other court jurisdictions. It is likely the structure will be adapted to meet the specific customer needs of the SAT.
