Western Australia’s procurement and tender documents outline requirements regarding equality, for example, including service delivery that is LGBTIQA+ affirming. Organisations tendering responses are required to demonstrate how their services are delivered to meet the needs of diverse communities.
The Department of Communities is currently undertaking a commissioning process for homelessness services. Service conditions will be developed to ensure homelessness services align to the All Paths Lead to Home: 10 year strategy on Homelessness and include best practice principles encompassing LGBTIQA+ inclusivity.
