In relation to all agencies, departments and trading enterprises within the Minister’s portfolio of responsibilities, could the Minister advise: (a) do any of these agencies, departments or trading enterprises maintain a register of gifts or benefits offered to employees but not accepted; (b) if yes to (a), which specific agencies, departments or trading enterprises maintain such a registry; (c) if yes to (a), how long has the register been maintained; (d) if yes to (a), what is the dollar amount at which employees must register an offered gift or benefit; and (e) if yes to (a), through what means or mechanism do employees register a gift or benefit offered to them but not accepted?

(d) All gifts or benefits are required to be registered in line with the WA Public Sector Integrity Coordinating Group guidelines.
(e) By completion of a Conflict of Interest Disclosure form.
Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority
(a) Yes
(b) The Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority
(c) The register has been maintained since 31 December 2011, since the inception of the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority.
(d) Corporate policy provides that gifts over $30 are to be declared.
(e) Corporate policy provides that a declaration form is required to be completed by the staff member who receives the gift offer. Once the form is completed, it is then added to a central register maintained by Human Resources.

(b) The Department of Culture and the Arts maintains a register of gifts and hospitality for the Culture and Arts Portfolio which consists of the Art Gallery of Western Australia, State Library of Western Australia, Western Australian Museum, ScreenWest, Perth Theatre Trust and the State Records Office.
(c) This central register for the portfolio has been maintained since 2010. Prior to that, the portfolio agencies were responsible for maintaining their own register.
