I refer to the Mines Safety and Inspection Act 1994 and reporting requirements by Yancoal Australia Group’s Premier Coal mine in Collie, and ask in the last six months: (a) in relation to mine site rehabilitation, how many hectares of soil dumps have been revegetated; (b) what are the projected hectares of rehabilitated areas for: (i) 2014; (ii) 2015; (iii) 2016; (iv) 2017; and (v) 2018; (c) is Yancoal Australia’s Premier mine complying with WA State Government requirements rehabilitation guidelines; and (d) if not, how far behind is the company in its rehabilitation program?
