annual ''Firebreak & Fuel Hazard Reduction Notice 2018/2019''
states —
Subject
to the required clearing permit being obtained, a property owner may extend the
Building Protection Zone to a maximum of 40 metres.
(1) What criteria
does the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation use to assess the
amount of clearing allowable for fire mitigation?
(2) How many
applications for clearing over 20 metres did DWER receive in the shire area and
what was the result in 2017–18 and 2018–19 to 30 March 2019?
(3) How many
applications for clearing for any purpose did DWER receive in the shire area in
2014–15, 2015–16 and 2016–17?
(4) Has DWER ever declined or
refused applications to clear within 40 metres; and, if yes, for what reason?
