(1) In relation to the fatal stabbing of 40 year old Graham Stanley Wallum in his Brunswick Junction home on Sunday 4 March 2012, and attempts of residents to call police for assistance, I ask:
(a) was a call made to the Australind Police Station to report the incident and was that call diverted to Perth;
(b) did the person taking the call advise the resident reporting the incident that they had no idea where Brunswick Junction was;
(c) why weren't police dispatched immediately when the resident told the operator the late Mr Graham Wallum was banging on the resident's door;
(d) why did the operator tell the caller that the person banging on the door was harmless and that the caller should ring Australind police station in the morning;
(e) what time was the first call reporting this event recorded;
(f) how many calls were logged to report this event;
(g) are recordings of these calls available;
(h) what time were the police dispatched to attend the event; and
(i) what time did the police arrive at the Mr Wallum's property?

(a) Communications Division only records calls received at the Police Operations Centre and the Police Assistance Centre. No call was received other than one from St John Ambulance in relation to this incident. It is unknown if a call was made to Australind Police.
(b) No. The call was received from St John Ambulance and no such comment was made.
(c) Police Operations Centre received a call at 8.13pm from St John Ambulance and a vehicle was dispatched at 8.17pm.
(d) This advice was not provided.
(e) Initial call received at Police Operations Centre at 8.13pm.
