(a-d) Busselton Hospital uses the Health Care and Related Information System (HCARe) client Management System. Waitlist cancellation data is not available for HCARe establishments in the Elective Surgery Wait List Data Collection. It is possible to obtain the information through individual record level review from HCARe. This would require substantial work which is not considered a good use of departmental resources.
Elective surgery can be cancelled for a variety of hospital or patient initiated reasons.
