I thank the member for some notice of the question.
(1) Yes.
(2) Staff are drawn from across the Department of Health to
work on Seniors Week as required.
(3) In 2011
the total was $139 178.18, with incoming sponsorship of $8 843.27. In 2012 the
total was $157 361.63, with incoming sponsorship of $5 494.55. In 2013 the
total was $12 179.93, with incoming sponsorship of $77 611.27. Now that I read
that figure out, that looks like a typographical error. I expect that the
sponsorship probably should be $7 611.27; a double seven may have been put in
place of a single seven, so I will check that figure. For this year, 2014, the
total amount is yet to be determined.
