I refer to the Early Childhood Development Program on page 50 of the 2014-2015 Disability Services Commission Annual Report , and I ask: (a) of the 245 places in the Early Childhood Development Program for children with Global Developmental Delay, how many of the places are facilitated in regional Western Australia, and where are they located; (b) how many places are funded in 2015-2016 and where are they located; and (c) is there a waiting list for the Early Childhood Development Program and, if yes, how many children are waitlisted?

(a) All 245 Disability Services Commission (the Commission) provided Early Childhood Development Program places are in the metropolitan area.  Except for participants in the WA NDIS My Way trial early childhood intervention services for children with disability in regional Western Australia are funded through Western Australia Country Health Services. (b) There are 245 Early Intervention places funded in the metropolitan area by the Commission. (c) As at 3 March 2016, there are six children who are currently receiving services from other providers who would like to transfer to the Commission’s Early Childhood Development Program, hence there are six children on the waiting list.
