ROAD INTERSECTION
1492. Hon DONNA FARAGHER to the minister representing the
Minister for Transport:
I refer to the concept design for a
proposed flyover at Hale Road and Tonkin Highway. Can the minister provide an outline
of —
(a) the traffic
modelling being undertaken by Main Roads WA as part of its re-examination of
the current concept design; and
(b) the community consultation that will be undertaken
by Main Roads WA following the completion of the traffic modelling
referred to in (a)?

modelling process for the project will include assessing the impacts of options
at Hale Road.
(b) The results
of the traffic modelling will be available early next year. Main Roads will
consult with the local community and seek its feedback.
