(1) There are three monitoring bores onsite. Monitoring bores one and two are located downstream from the site and monitoring bore three is located upstream from the site. In addition to the standard monitoring bores, there are four licensed extraction bores which are also monitored on a regular basis. A map showing the location of all the bores on site is attached (Attachment 1). (2) Monitoring results for the landfill site are attached (Attachment 2). (3) The site is licensed under Part V of the Environmental Protection Act 1986 . The licence conditions are attached (Attachment 3). (4) The landfill consists of four cells and each of these cells is lined. (5) The liner consists of a 2 mm High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) geomembrane. The liner is designed to capture any leachate that may be generated by landfill activities. The lining system incorporates a leachate recovery system, which assists with retention of leachate within the landfill environment. See tabled paper.
