(1) 9,976 applications received between 1 October 2003 and 28 February 2008. This does not include the backlog of applications received prior to October 2003.
(2) 11,535 licences issued between 1 October 2003 and 28 February 2008, This includes the issue of licences from the backlog of applications plus those received in that period
(3) None. By July 2008, local government authorities will be required to have a Water Conservation Plan.
(4) Water Conservation Plans are not a statutory requirement. However, large volume licences are required to submit an Operating Strategy which includes a Water Conservation Plan as part of water efficiency measures.
