I refer to the news article published on 25 August 2025 on the Australian motorsport news website Speedcafe.com, titled “Perth street race opposition based on ‘misconception’”, and I ask: (a) in reference to the article stating that the circuit is planned to be 3.4 kilometres with 12 turns, has any independent engineering assessment been undertaken to validate the safety, feasibility and cost of constructing the circuit to FIA standards; (b) are the details listed in part (a) correct; (c) if no to (b), how long will the circuit be and how many turns; and (d) what elements of the circuit layout remain subject to community consultation and when will consultation conclude?
