I have been advised by the Director General of the Department of Consumer and Employment Protection, Brian Bradley, as follows — (1) The letter to the parliamentary commissioner headed “Employment Matters” and dated 4 June 2003 was written jointly by a number of officers in the public sector directorate of the labour relations division of the Department of Consumer and Employment Protection. (2) Officers in the public sector directorate of the labour relations division were again jointly involved in providing advice to the minister on 12 February 2008. Some of these officers were different from those mentioned in answer (1).
