Why can the Premier not be an advocate for the 200 employees from Epic Energy, particularly considering he is the Chairman of the Cabinet Standing Committee on Regional Development? Dr G.I. GALLOP

AnswerView source ↗

The Leader of the National Party is advocating that the Government of Western Australia, through the Cabinet, set the pipeline tariff. That is what he and the Leader of the Liberal Party are advocating, despite their setting up a process when in government under the national access guidelines and Western Australian law to have that matter determined independently. I have great confidence that the employees of Epic Energy will not be fooled by the interventions of these hypocrites.
