I refer to the 58 additional full time equivalents (FTE) child protection workers announced in the 2014-15 State Budget, and I ask: (a) what will be the net additional FTE allocation per district for each metropolitan and regional district; (b) have any of the additional 58 FTE commenced working with the Department for Child Protection and Family Support; and (c) if yes to (b), where have the new FTE been allocated?

a) Funding equating to 38 full time equivalent (FTE) positions was allocated across the Department's 17 districts as follows:
Armadale 4.5
Cannington 4.5
East Kimberley 1.0
Fremantle 1.0
Goldfields 1.0
Great Southern 2.0
Joondalup 1.5
Midland 4.0
Mirrabooka 1.0
Murchison 2.5
Peel 2.5
Perth 0.5
Pilbara 2.0
Rockingham 4.0
South West 2.5
West Kimberley 1.5
Wheatbelt 2.0
Funding equating to an additional 20 FTE was provided to the Department's residential care services, with eight FTE allocated to residential care facilities in country areas and 12 FTE allocated to residential care facilities in the metropolitan area.

c) As at 31 October 2014, all positions were filled with the exception of East Kimberley, Goldfields, Murchison, South West (1.8 FTE) and West Kimberley (0.5 FTE).
Additional funding equating to 20 FTE was allocated to the Department's residential care services to fund additional roster shifts from July 2014.
