Further to the Minister’s answer to Question on Notice No. 4249, and the provisions of the agreement in place between the Western Australian State Government and Rio Tinto Iron Ore (Robe River Mining) in reference to the Pannawonica Primary School Building:
(a) does the agreement require the company to provide, maintain and upgrade the school buildings and facilities and teacher accommodation at Pannawonica;
(b) what is the Government doing to ensure that all the conditions of the agreement are complied with by the company;
(c) what aspects of the current agreement are to be subject to renegotiation; and
(d) will the Minister outline the reasons for renegotiating the agreement?

(a) Please refer to the answer provided at Question on Notice Legislative Assembly 4249.
(b) In the absence of a current agreement, regular maintenance is undertaken by Rio Tinto and on report from the school.
(c) All terms and conditions of the current agreement, which has expired, will be reviewed by both parties.
(d) The current agreement has expired.
