800. Hon GIZ WATSON to the minister representing the
Minister for Environment:
(1) With
reference to the expert panel referred to in part 3.6 of the ''Sustained
Yield Information Sheet Series'' prepared by the Department of
Environment and Conservation —
(a) who were
the members of the expert panel who reviewed the process and calculations that
produced the sustained yield levels; and
(b) who appointed this expert
panel?
(2) With
reference to the independent review of the sustained yield calculations
developed for the proposed forest management plan that will be submitted for
assessment by the Environmental Protection Authority in 2013 —
(a) have the people who will
conduct this review been appointed;
(b) if no to (a), when will they
be appointed, and who will appoint them; and
(c) if yes to (a), who are the
people, and who appointed them?
