I refer to advice sought and obtained by the City of Fremantle from Main Roads WA (MRWA) around 1998-99 comparing the merits of the Fremantle Eastern Bypass against an alternative route of High Street/Leach Highway/Stock Road, and I ask -
(1) Did that advice confirm that without the bypass, High Street would have to be widened to six lanes?
(2) Did that advice also note that the High Street alternative presents a less desirable option in terms of safety?
(3) Has MRWA given similar advice to the current Minister about this issue?
(4) Is the Roe Highway a four or six lane road?
(5) Was the proposed bypass planned as a four or six lane road?
