Under the Western Australia Police Industrial Agreement 2017, Commissioned Officers, including Superintendents, have no set starting or finishing times and work hours as demanded by their duties on any given day. The number and span of hours worked by a Commissioned Officer on any given day is determined by work demands and the requirements of the position, self-management and the needs of the Commissioner of Police.
