(1) I refer to the Prime Minister's recent visit to Northcliffe and his endorsement of prescribed burning and I ask, did the Prime Minister make funding commitment towards prescribed burns in the South West? (2) If yes to (1), how much funding was committed? (3) Was the funding commitment a one off commitment or recurrent? (4) What consultation or discussion, if any, has the Federal Government undertaken with the State Government in relation to the Federal Government's pilot project to protect vulnerable communities from bushfires? (5) What was the outcome of these consultations/discussions?
