For each department, agency, government trading enterprise or organisation within your portfolios, can you please advise: (a) whether the organisation has a recordkeeping plan, pursuant to the State Records Act 2000 ; (b) the date on which the record keeping plan was first submitted; (c) whether the record keeping plan has been approved by the State Records Office; (d) the date on which the record keeping plan was last reviewed; and (e) whether the record keeping plan is overdue for a review and if so, what actions are being undertaken to ensure compliance is maintained with the Act?

(a-e) The Western Australian Police Force advise that the WA Police Force recordkeeping plan was first submitted August 2011, and approved on 5 August 2011. A review of the WA Police Force recordkeeping plan was last conducted in July 2016. An amended WA Police Force recordkeeping plan was submitted to the State Records Commission in June 2018 and is currently pending approval. The WA Police Force recordkeeping plan is not overdue for a review.
The Road Safety Commsion advise that as part of its attachment to WA Police Force, the Commission’s recordkeeping plan is included as part of the WA Police Recordkeeping Plan.
