representing the Minister for Energy:
I refer to a bushfire that occurred
east of Narrogin on 6 February.
(1) Has the investigation by
EnergySafety and Western Power been completed?
(2) If yes to (1), please table the
investigation report.
(3) If no to (1), when is the

(1) As it is the
regulator, EnergySafety undertakes its investigations independently of Western
Power. The member can submit questions regarding the investigation status to
the responsible minister, which is the Minister for Commerce.
(2)–(3) See answer to (1).
(4) Western Power continues to work with the safety
regulator and other stakeholders to establish the underlying cause of
the incident.
