(a) Yes.
(i) I have a regular scheduled meeting with the Director General and Senior Health Executives on a fortnightly basis. These meetings occurred with the then Acting Director General on 1, 15 and 29 April. In addition the Acting Director General attended other meetings in my office on 8, 13, 20, 28 and 30 April.
(ii)  At the meeting of 15 April 2015, the Acting Director General and I discussed the provision of cancer/oncology services and I requested that the Acting Director General undertake a review.
It should be noted that I speak to the Director General on the telephone on a frequent basis and this report was regularly raised in general discussion and informally at other meetings.
