I refer to Budget Paper No. 2, Volume 2, page 730, and I ask -
(1) What percentage of the total Cost of Services is committed to delivery of services for the age group from zero to three years?
(2) What percentage of the total Cost of Services is committed to delivery of services for the prenatal period?
(3) Have the amounts referred to in (1) and (2) above increased or decreased since the 2010-2011 Budget?
(4) If there has been an increase, is it above or below the cost and activity growth?

(1) 7 per cent - This figure relates to the programs delivered and funded primarily for 0-3 years old, it does not include the department's Parenting WA services which are delivered to 0-18 years old or the department's child care licensing and standards unit and support to the child care sector.
(2) While the Department for Communities directly provides and funds a range of parenting support programs for parents and other caregivers, the department does not have programs or services which are exclusively for the prenatal period
(3) Amount in (1) Increased, amount in (2) Not applicable
(4) Amount in (1) is equal to the cost and activity growth
