I refer to the Department of Commerce (department) Agency Response to the Auditor General's Public Sector Performance Report (Report 9 – June 2012), and I ask —
(1) Has the department now received advice on how to remedy the department's accumulation of an extra $1 million in revenue on behalf of the Plumbers Licensing Board over a five year period?
(2) If yes to (1), can the Minister explain how, and over what timeframe, the department will be remedying the situation?
(3) If no to (2), why not?
(4) Please detail what steps, if any, the department has taken to ensure that such errors do not occur in the future.
