I thank the
honourable member for her active interest in the energy sector! We cannot lose
it, can we!
Hon
Ken Travers : Shame you
never had an active interest!
Hon
PETER COLLIER : Oh, I was
very interested, Hon Ken Travers! Loved every second of it!
Several members interjected.
The PRESIDENT : Order! We do not tolerate a situation
where somebody has to raise their voice to speak over others in this place.
Hon PETER COLLIER : Thank you, Mr President.
(1) Western
Power has a lease agreement with Fowljeff Holdings Pty Ltd.
(2) Western
Power pays rent and outgoings to Fowljeff Holdings Pty Ltd. The rent is $1 578 941
per annum, plus approximately $470 000 per annum in outgoings.
(3) Western Power
registered the trademark in August 2010. The initial registration fee was $480.
Due to the time that has elapsed since registration, Western Power has been
unable to retrieve further documents detailing any additional fees and
associated staff costs in the time provided. The Minister for Energy asks that
the member place on notice the parts of question (3) relating to registration
fees and the cost of staff time.
