The Minister Replied:
(1) The Western Australian Greenhouse Council has prepared an Implementation Plan for the National Greenhouse Strategy and is in the process of preparing a Western Australian Greenhouse Strategy for Government's consideration.
(2) The Implementation Plan was forwarded to the Australian Greenhouse Office (AGO) in early September 2000, for inclusion on the AGO web-site.
(3) Not applicable.
(4) Yes.
(5) Most other States and Territories are believed to have prepared State or Territory Implementation Plans. Some have prepared State greenhouse strategies, or discussion papers for a State greenhouse strategy. However, these documents are all "work in progress". As such, no State or Territory is believed to have "completed" its response to the National Greenhouse Strategy.
