I refer to advice provided to me in writing by the Minister, dated 17 July 2012, regarding Statham's Quarry, and I ask —
(1) Will the Minister provide a map and/or photographs showing the cliff top and side tracks, before and after re-routing following the fatality there on the 27 February 2011?
(2) If no to (1), why not?

(1) I table a map and photographs showing improvements at Statham's Quarry.
Improving cliff top access at Statham's Quarry is ongoing, consistent with recreation use of the site and in line with DEC's Visitor Risk Management Policy. Recent work includes removing the side track marked green on the map and re-routing it away from the cliff top as depicted on the map and in photographs 1 and 2.
Other tracks have been inspected and realigned away from the cliff top where this is practicable, such as the yellow circled area on the map and in photograph 3.
New fencing has also been erected (photographs 4 and 5) and repairs to existing fences and new cliff risk warning signs installed (photographs 6 and 7) to further limit and discourage access to cliff tops.
A planned partnership between DEC and outdoor adventure groups will seek to implement further amenity and access improvements at Statham's Quarry.
