In relation to the previous Labor Government’s dedicated Ignite! funding to His Majesty’s Theatre and the Perth Theatre Trust, I ask:
(a) has the commitment to replace the carpets at His Majesty’s Theatre been fulfilled and what was the final cost compared to the budgeted cost;
(b) has the commitment to replace the audio visual system at His Majesty’s Theatre been fulfilled and what was the final cost compared to the budgeted cost; and
(c) has the commitment for an extra $600,000 to invest in performances been expended; and
(i) if so, on what; and
(ii) if not, why not?

(b) Yes - Budget $450 000, Actual Cost $372 444.

(ii) The additional $600 000 was reduced to $400 000 - $300 000 has been drawn down as at 31

May 2010 and has been used to support the presentation of shows such as London Philharmonic Orchestra and Equus.
