I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1) There were 388 boats in the rock lobster commercial fleet in Western Australia as of 23 April 2009. (2) Management arrangements for the rock lobster fishery are focused on the sustainability of the fishery. I do not believe that the size of the fleet is a relevant consideration.
