I refer to the Eelup Roundabout in Bunbury, and ask -
(1) Has Main Roads finalised the concept design options to address traffic management issues at Eelup Roundabout?
(2) If yes to (1), when will the community be consulted on the concept designs?
(3) If no to (1), -
(a) what is the delay in finalising the concept designs; and
(b) when will the concept designs be completed?
(4) What traffic management works will be undertaken at Eelup Roundabout this financial year?

(1-2) No.

(a-b) A preferred option is currently being discussed with stakeholders.  It is planned to finalise the concept by the end of this year, however this is to an extent dependent on the outcome of the stakeholder consultation and further traffic modelling.
(4) A free southbound left slip lane is planned for completion this financial year providing traffic and crash benefits on the leg with the greatest traffic flow. Detail design and preconstruction works will also be undertaken this financial year to enable the full completion of the interim upgrade next financial year.
