Vaping industry regulation325.Hon Dr Brian Walkerto theminister representing
the Minister for Industrial Relations:I note the
government's announcement last month that vaping would henceforth be banned in
all enclosed WA workplaces. Wholly supportive as I am as a medical professional
of this particular regulatory reform, given the previous Minister for Health
assured the chamber in June 2022, when the government began its vaping reforms,
that there was no anticipated negative impact for patients who held medical
vaping prescriptions, what consultation took place between the minister's
department and her colleagues in Health prior to these regulations being
issued?
