I thank the member for some notice
of the question.
(1)–(2) The
Disability Services Commission employs more than 1 800 people on a permanent,
fixed-term and casual basis. Of those, 13 staff have been stood down or asked
to remain away from the workplace for a period. Of those 13 staff, six related
to fitness-for-duty concerns, six related to alleged inappropriate conduct and
one related to misrepresenting information presented to the commission. Eleven
of the staff worked within the disability services directorate and two of the
staff worked within the operations directorate.
(3) Three
staff had their employment terminated. Of the three staff, two were terminated
for breaches of discipline and one was terminated for reasons unrelated to
their work practice.
