I refer to question on notice 602, in which I asked for dwell times per station, to which the answer was, "Train drivers dwell at each station in accordance with passenger loading and operational circumstances," and provided no other data, and question on notice 741, in which I asked for dwell times for five weekdays in a single week for each station on the Yanchep and Mandurah Lines, to which the answer was, "The Public Transport Authority's current train control system is not configured to provide accurate dwell times per station. This is because the system measures train movements by track circuits and not platforms, noting track circuits do not align with the stopping positions on platforms", and I ask: (a) will the Minister table maps showing the relevant track circuits and the station stopping positions for: (i) the Joondalup/Yanchep Line, from Leederville Station to Yanchep Station; and (ii) the Mandurah Line, from Elizabeth Quay to Mandurah Station; and (b) if no to (a), why not?

(a)-(b) Track circuitry information is operational in nature, and it is not appropriate to provide this publicly, where a person could gain knowledge of how to access mechanisms of a public transport system for malicious purposes.
Station stopping positions can be obtained by visiting the stations themselves.
