I refer to the Wallatin/O’Brien Catchment Demonstration Initiative and the need for monitoring of the 15 demonstration projects over the next ten years, and ask:
(a) has the Minister received a request for funding for monitoring of the demonstration projects; and
(i) if so, who made the request and what was the Minister’s response; and
(b) given the significant State Government investment into this and similar projects, would the Minister be willing to commit Royalties for Regions funding to ensure the monitoring necessary to evaluate the initiative is undertaken; and
(i) if not, why not?
