(2) If yes, what is the estimated or
projected number of police retirements in 2023 and 2024?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. The following information has been provided to me
by the Minister for Police.
(1)–(2) The
Western Australia Police Force advise the current police officer plan to June
2024 assumes that 29 officers a month will retire from the agency. All forms of
attrition are included in this assumption, including retirement.
