LICENSING — PRACTICAL ASSESSMENTS
(1) What are the current waiting times for persons seeking to take practical driving tests at each — (a) country licensing centre; and (b) metropolitan licensing centre? As the minister responsible for licensing reform and licensing matters in this state, I am more than pleased to be able to present this response to the member. (1) (a) As at 11.45 am on 27 May 2008 the current waiting times at each country licensing centre are as follows: Broome, two days; South Hedland, one week and four days; Geraldton, two days; Karratha, zero days; Esperance, zero days; Kalgoorlie, zero days; Albany, zero days; Bunbury, two weeks; Busselton, zero days; and (b) as at 9.15 am on 27 May 2008 the current waiting times at each metropolitan licensing centre are: Welshpool, one day; Kelmscott, zero days; City West, two days; Joondalup, zero days; Morley, two weeks and four days; Midland, two days; Willagee, one day; Rockingham, three days; and Mandurah, one day.
